EBSCO is teaming up with AARP to release AgeLine®, a database that provides information on hundreds of topics related to life after age 50. AgeLine is now part of the growing list of secondary databases available via EBSCOhost®. AgeLine, produced by AARP, provides information on health, public policy, social, psychological, and fiscal issues related to aging. This database provides citations from both scholarly and consumer-oriented publications, with full abstracts generated by AARP. Sources indexed include journals, books, book chapters, reports, consumer guides, and videos. Over 300 serials are reviewed on a regular basis and relevant citations included in AgeLine. Designed for researchers, professionals, students and general consumers, this database addresses aging issues in the U.S. and internationally. AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to addressing the needs and interests of individuals over the age of 50 through information, advocacy, and service. The organization represents more than 35 million members, with staffed offices in all 50 states. For more information, visit www.aarp.org. Released: June 27, 2002 |
