EBSCO Book Services has added thousands of VHS, DVD, laser disc, CD and cassette titles to the more than 2.5 million books that are currently available from the online store.

More than 100,000 audio titles and 85,000 video titles have been added to the content offerings on EBSCO Book Services. This simple service gives an organization's staff and end users quick access to a large selection of competitively priced books and electronic media in various formats while allowing the organization to analyze and control book purchases.

"We are excited to announce the addition of the electronic media content to EBSCO Book Services," said product manager Terry Webster. "These additions are a continuation of our efforts to provide customers with more complete purchasing options as the holiday season approaches."

Administrative features available on EBSCO Book Services help customers easily manage purchasing functions, such as accounting and reporting, within their organizations. Invoicing and credit card options provide flexible payment, and a secure server is provided for transactions. This is all available from one Web site and interface designed to streamline the book ordering process.

EBSCO Book Services has developed both EDIFACT and X12-format invoices for loading into compatible ILS Systems. To date, book invoice interfaces have been established for the DRA Classic and Voyager library systems.

In addition, customers that currently use EBSCONET® for claiming and processing subscription orders will have access to their book order history through EBSCONET.

Distribution centers are located throughout the continental United States, enabling EBSCO to provide next-day delivery to more than 90 percent of its customers. In addition, EBSCO Book Services now provides an international shipping option for customers outside of North America. Organizations can arrange for multiple ship-to and bill-to accounts to be set up, enabling books to be received at any location or within any department with complete payment and invoice information being sent to the appropriate office staff.

A dedicated customer service staff provides responsive follow up to inquiries from any end user via an e-mail link on the Web site or by phone. Current EBSCO Subscription Services customers can contact their nearest Regional Office to set up an account. Non-customers who would like to set up an account can contact EBSCO Book Services at (800) 815-9627 or (800) 756-1561 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CST or by e-mail at EBSfeedback@ebsco.com.
