Through a recent agreement between EBSCO Information Services and Elsevier Science, users of EBSCOhost® Electronic Journals Service (EJS) now have article-level access to Elsevier Science journals, provided they have a license to access ScienceDirect®. "This is an important agreement that will more fully allow our customers to use EJS as the gateway for all their electronic journals," said F. Dixon Brooke, Jr., vice president and general manager of the subscription division of EBSCO Information Services. "We are pleased to be able to provide the access to Elsevier Science journals that our customers have been requesting." EBSCOhost Electronic Journals Service (EJS) provides end users a portal to more than 8,400 e-journals and more than 3.6 million articles. The recently enhanced EJS provides many new administrative features that assist librarians with the increasing demands of electronic serials access and management. The EJS interface is simple and easy to maneuver for both librarians and end users. With the addition of the Elsevier Science content, EBSCO customers can browse and search all of their e-journals through one e-journal interface. Through CrossRef, article-level links are provided to Elsevier Science journal content for those subscribers having a license to ScienceDirect.
