About EBSCO Contact Us Site Map News Releases

Now available through EBSCOhost®, the Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) is the source of authoritative, global information about Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean basin, the United States-Mexican border region and Hispanic Americans. HAPI joins the growing number of EBSCO databases providing the highest quality information relevant to a diverse world of students and researchers.

Of value to academic, high school and public libraries, the database includes analyses of current political, economic and social issues and unique coverage of Latin American arts and letters. HAPI contains complete bibliographic citations to articles, book reviews, documents, original literary works and other materials appearing in more than 400 key social science and humanities journals published throughout the world.

Additionally, searching HAPI through EBSCOhost increases its utility for researchers. In addition to superior searching functionality, libraries subscribing to both HAPI and an EBSCOhost full text database - such as Academic Search™ Premier - will be able to link from citations within HAPI to the corresponding full text articles in these databases.
