EBSCO Information Services today unveiled its redesigned www.ebsco.com marketing Web site. Librarians and information professionals visiting www.ebsco.com will experience a fresh new design, easy navigation and access to pages detailing the core services provided by EBSCO Information Services. Drop-down boxes on each page allow users to link to key sections of the Web site for more in-depth information on items of interest. The site represents all operations of EBSCO's information services group, so visitors can access current information about its print and electronic journal subscription services, bibliographic and full text databases, and online book, audio and video ordering services. Several web-based services can be accessed by customers directly from the site's homepage. "We trust that the redesign will provide easier navigation for visitors and improved searching capabilities," said Joe K. Weed, vice president and general manager of marketing and communications for EBSCO Information Services. "The look of the Web site is updated and fresh. We have worked towards building a look that truly helps define who EBSCO is and what we are about." The site features the group's recently crafted marketing tagline "Customer focused. Content driven," which is also visible on its new advertising and promotional materials. Released: April 22, 2002 |
