EBSCO Publishing is pleased to offer two more high quality H.W. Wilson databases via EBSCOhost®, Biological & Agricultural Index and Essay and General Literature Index. With this release, EBSCO now provides 11 H.W. Wilson databases on EBSCOhost, covering a variety of important and varied subjects. The company expects to release additional Wilson databases in the near future.

Biological & Agricultural Index provides access to more than 1,000,000 citations from agricultural and biological literature. This database indexes articles, reports of meetings, review articles, special supplements, and book reviews, dated 1983 to the present. The database covers animal husbandry, biochemistry, botany, cytology, ecology, entomology, environmental science, fishery sciences, forestry, food science, genetics, horticulture, microbiology, nutrition, physiology, plant pathology, soil science, veterinary medicine, zoology and much more. Biological & Agricultural Index offers coverage of more than 350 periodicals (most of which are peer-reviewed) and a wide range of scientific journals pertaining to biology and agriculture from publishers such as the U.S. Department of Commerce, Annual Reviews, Inc. and American Journal of Botany.

Essay and General Literature Index is a unique reference database that cites records contained in collections of essays and miscellaneous works published in the United States, Great Britain, and Canada. More than 320 single and multi-authored volumes are indexed annually with more than 20 selected annuals and serial publications. Essay and General Literature Index provides access to nearly 65,000 essays found in over 5,300 printed anthologies and collections, with coverage dating as far back as 1985. Subjects covered in the database span the entire range of the humanities and social sciences, including archaeology, architecture, art, children's literature, classical studies, drama, economics, fiction, film, folklore, history, linguistics, music, poetry, political science, psychology, religion, women's studies and more.

Researchers using these databases may take advantage of the superior searching and linking capabilities of EBSCOhost. Users can conduct searches using basic and advanced searching techniques as well as by subject, publication name, etc.
