EBSCO Renames and Expands Corporate Web Purchasing Service to Europe
Service Extension Includes Name Change to EBSCO Information MarketPlaceSM

BIRMINGHAM , Alabama , U.S.A. , December 7, 2005 – Under the new name EBSCO Information MarketPlaceSM (EIM), EBSCO announces the expansion of its Web-based ordering and management services for corporations to France , Germany and the United Kingdom .

MarketPlace enables users to select from thousands of magazine, newspaper and journal titles, and order through a secure, online site. MarketPlace offers two versions: 1) a desktop solution that provides direct order access, multiple payment options, reporting capability and order approval controls, and 2) an e-procurement solution for Oracle®, SAP and Ariba® systems. Payment options include credit card, corporate purchasing card or invoicing. Level III security authorization is provided for corporate purchasing cards and most major credit cards. Multiple languages (English, French and German) and multiple currencies (US Dollar, British Pound and Euro) are available.
