EBSCO Publishing Launches New Support Web Site IPSWICH, Mass. —January 20, 2006 In response to customer requests for additional resources regarding support and training, EBSCO Publishing is pleased to announce the availability of our completely redesigned customer support web site. Designed to benefit users of all EBSCO Information Services products, this new site adds intuitive navigation and builds upon the existing comprehensive collection of resources while also expanding the range of support services offered to include even more valuable information. In an effort to enhance the existing support materials offered, EBSCO now provides an expanded searchable “Knowledge Base” of helpful “frequently asked questions”. A growing repository of Macromedia Flash tutorials provides customers with the necessary tools for educating new database users. Downloadable product-specific help sheets, Marketing Summaries, Thematic Units and Complete User Guides are also available. Several new valuable features have been added to the web site to improve the flow of information and ease of use. The most popular Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are conveniently located on the main page of the support site. Access to pertinent information has been streamlined by the organization of content under new navigational boxes. The web site now features enhanced searching capability including a global site search as well as an advanced Knowledge Base searching functionality allowing the user to find specific tools within a specific topic. In addition, the new site provides a direct link to EBSCO’s Customer Success Center, featuring library tools, best practice stories, marketing support and more.
