EBSCO is pleased to be able to provide Library Literature & Information Science, another high-quality database produced by the H.W. Wilson Company. Created by librarians for librarians, this bibliographic database indexes articles and book reviews of key library and information science periodicals.

Library Literature & Information Science contains more than 242,000 records aggregated from more than 300 books, 380 journals, chapters in collected works such as conference proceedings, library school theses and pamphlets. The database includes English and non-English records dating back to 1980.

Subjects covered include automation, cataloging, censorship, children's literature, circulation procedures, classification, copyright legislation, education for librarianship, government aid, information brokers, internet software, library associations and conferences, library equipment and supplies, personnel administration, preservation of materials, public relations, publishing and Web sites.

Researchers using the database will be able to take advantage of the superior searching and linking capabilities of EBSCOhost. Searches can be conducted using basic and advanced searching techniques, as well as by subject and publication name.
