MetaPress ® Continues To Expand Its Journal Content BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, U.S.A., June 25, 2005 – Six publishers have signed agreements to add their journal content to MetaPress ®, the online hosting platform service that is a part of Publisher Promotion & Fulfillment, a division of EBSCO Industries, Inc. These publishers are Akadémiai Kiadó , Baywood Publishing, Dialogue Foundation, the Institute for Environmental Sciences & Technology, the National Defense Industrial Association and Professional Engineering Publishing. Additionally, Thomas Land has renewed its contract with MetaPress. Akadémiai Kiadó is Hungary ’s oldest publisher of scientific and academic books and journals. Its authors, Hungarian scientists and academics, include some of the world’s best-known experts in many disciplines – economics and sociology, biology and ecology, mathematics, physics, oriental studies and veterinary science. “We chose MetaPress because of its high-level technical quality and strong, business-oriented approach,” said Zoltán Papp , publishing director, Scientific Business Journals Center . “We are proud of taking part in a big aggregation and at the same time having a branded Web site, and therefore higher visibility of our journals.
