After 12 years as vice president and general manager of EBSCO Information Services (EIS)-London, Ian Middleton has been named general manager of EIS-Europe.

For the past four years, Middleton has served as the overall sales and marketing manager for EIS-Europe, assisting all EBSCO offices in Europe with developing a sales and marketing approach for all countries across Africa and Europe. “It is of course a team effort that encompasses all the European offices because our ability to win new business is a reflection of our common purpose, the growing strength of our products and services, the persuasive abilities of our sales team and the ever-improving levels of service to which everyone contributes; without which, we would have nothing to sell,” said Middleton.  

Middleton has 31 years experience in the information industry, having spent 19 years in sales and sales management before joining EBSCO.
