Schoenvogel Named Director of Operations for EBSCO Information Services

Robert Schoenvogel has been named director of operations for EBSCO Information Services (EIS). Schoenvogel’s experience includes working with JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the mergers and acquisitions group and then with investment firm Priderock Management. He joined EBSCO in 2006 as a management consultant and then transitioned to EIS as project manager in June 2007.

After receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., where he graduated with highest honors, Schoenvogel obtained an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Administration.

Schoenvogel will maintain his current responsibilities with EIS strategic planning, acquisitions, foreign currency, accounting, finance and division-wide project management. His additional responsibilities include collaborating with EIS managers and key stakeholders on business analysis and projects to improve customer service offerings and boost efficiency.
