EBSCO Information Services announces the launch of the podcast series, Long Overdue, featuring conversations on libraries and technology – take a listen!

Just in time for International Podcast Day 2018, EBSCO is launching Long Overdue, a podcast series highlighting technologies in the library space. Each episode will highlight an in-depth discussion with either a librarian, or an influencer creating technology in the library space.

Long Overdue will explore different perspectives from various people in the library field on how current technological advances have impacted libraries.  The series will also look at emerging technology trends, and how they may influence the roles of librarians.

The first two guests on the podcast will be Daniel Forsman, City Librarian for the Stockholm City Library, whose role has a strong focus on digitalization and Mitchell Davis, Founder and CEO of BiblioLabs, who will discuss open access and archival content.

The first two episodes are now available for listening, and episodes will be released once a month. Follow us on Twitter at @EBSCO for series updates. We hope you will join us for this series.
