Ashley Lyons joined NoveList in 2018 as a Readers' Advisory Librarian. Before joining the NoveList team, Ashley worked in public and university libraries for over a decade, doing a little bit of everything. Ashley continues to be a “jack of all trades” at NoveList, writing recommendations, cataloging, and also putting together NextReads newsletters (Thrillers and Suspense; Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise; and Religion and Spirituality).
When not at work, Ashley reads (and listens to!) a wide variety of books, especially literary fiction, historical fantasy, and history writing more generally. This love of history spills over into video games, too — especially RPGs, strategy games, and anything with a giant map to conquer.
