 American Doctoral Dissertations was recently expanded to offer greater coverage of 20th century research. The new citations include a link to access the full text, when available, via the Institutional Repository where the thesis or dissertation is housed, such as OhioLINK, Rochester Institute of Technology and North Carolina State University.

Dissertations are searchable by author, title, subject and university. The database includes full page images of the original print index, Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities.

Researchers can access the free database at www.opendissertations.com and EBSCO customers can add the database to their profile by contacting Customer Support.
