Abstract
The Agriculture Department's Farm Service Agency is accepting applications for the National Organic Certification Cost Share Program (NOCCSP). This program provides financial assistance to producers and handlers of agricultural products who are seeking certification under the National Organic Program. The deadline for applications is July 12, 2024, and there is a total of $9.5 million available for the award. Eligibility extends to the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories. State agencies may reimburse certified organic operators for 75% of their allowable certification costs, up to a maximum of $750 per certification scope.
