Abstract

The Agriculture Risk Management Education (ARME) Partnerships Competitive Grants Program, offered by the Agriculture Department's National Institute of Food and Agriculture, is accepting applications for funding. The program aims to support the development and delivery of agricultural risk management education materials through four regional risk management education centers. Additionally, one grant will be awarded to a Risk Management Education Electronic Support Center to provide support to the regional centers. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2024, and a total of $9 million is available for up to five awards. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, for-profit organizations, nonprofit organizations, state and local organizations, federal entities, and others. The program places special emphasis on providing education and outreach to specific groups, such as beginning farmers or ranchers, legal immigrant farmers or ranchers, socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers, retiring farmers or ranchers, and those transitioning to new markets.
