Abstract
The article presents the discussion on determining the regenerative ability of PNS neurons following injury. Topics include having limited ability to regenerate, axons of the peripheral nervous system (PNS) die back and can then reform in response to injury; and somatic nervous system being a branch of the PNS containing two primary neuron types such as sensory and motor neurons.
