Abstract
The article focuses on the deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the hotel industry to enhance guest satisfaction and transform service delivery. It examines current applications of IoT and digital platforms that enable personalized guest experiences, operational efficiencies, and energy management, while also exploring future prospects such as body area sensors and augmented reality. The paper highlights key challenges for hospitality service providers (HSP), including interoperability, data management, security and privacy, and responsiveness, emphasizing the need to address these issues to develop sustainable, future-ready hospitality solutions.
