Abstract

Background. Immobilization of organic reagents on fibers and the creation of chemical sensors is a relevant scientific task. Purpose: To immobilize the MB-9 reagent on PPA-1 fiber and determine the optimal conditions for the formation of the PPA-1+MB-9 complex. Methodology. The MB-9 reagent was used for immobilization on PPA-1 fiber, and infrared spectroscopy was applied to analyze the immobilization mechanism. Originality. For the first time, the optimal conditions for immobilizing the Mordant Blue 9 reagent on PPA-1 synthetic fiber have been studied. Findings. The optimal conditions for immobilizing the Mordant Blue 9 reagent on PPA-1 fiber were determined (pH = 4.5-5; T = 20-30 °C; t = 2-8 min). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
