Abstract
The article focuses on the upcoming release of *Athos: Echoes from the Holy Mountain*, a multidisciplinary project by the publishing house FLEE that explores the life and music of Mount Athos, a monastic peninsula in northeastern Greece with a history dating back to at least the ninth century. The project includes a trilingual book featuring essays, photographs, and artistic contributions, alongside a double LP compilation of field recordings from the 1960s and 21st century, with reinterpretations by various electronic musicians. Mount Athos is noted for its strict monastic traditions, including the abaton rule that prohibits women from entering, and its enduring liturgical music. FLEE’s initiative also involves exhibitions and conferences to share research on this unique community and its cultural heritage.
