Abstract
"The Roman Baths at Wallsend" by N. Hodgson is a book that explores the excavation and rediscovery of the fort bath-house in Wallsend, which is located on the line of Hadrian's Wall. The book details the community archaeology project called 'WallQuest' that was established to research the easternmost 30 miles of Hadrian's Wall. The excavation report provides a comprehensive analysis of the bath-house, including its original Hadrianic plan and subsequent modifications. The book also discusses the aqueduct that supplied water to the bath-house and suggests that the fort, wall, and bath-house were planned together as an 'integrated whole'.
