Abstract
The '(neo-)baroque' as a term designates an epoch, a style and whatnot. It has been used to describe literature, music, painting, architecture, and the arts and culture in general. The contribution goes into the term's diverse fields of application in order to explore and elucidate its use for the description of phenomena of, and in, English culture both in the post-Renaissance and in the postmodernist eras.1 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
