Abstract
The article focuses on a pair of drawings created in 1963 by pop artists Andy Warhol and Marisol, which are set to be auctioned at Phillips Auctions in October. These drawings, featuring tracings of the feet and hands of Warhol and Marisol, were made during a creative weekend in Old Lyme, Connecticut, where several artists gathered. The drawings have been in a private collection since 1972, when they were gifted to interior designer Harrison Cultra by artist Wynn Chamberlain. The article also provides historical context about Teviotdale, the property where the drawings were kept, highlighting its rich history and notable past residents. [Extracted from the article]
