Abstract

The National Endowment for the Arts is offering Challenge America grants to support small organizations in extending the reach of the arts to underserved populations. These populations are defined as those with limited access to the arts due to factors such as geography, ethnicity, economics, or disability. The grants, which amount to $10,000 each, are available for projects in various artistic disciplines. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, government units, and federally recognized tribal communities or tribes. Projects must demonstrate a $10,000 match from an outside funder. The deadline for applications is April 25th. [Extracted from the article]
