Abstract

The Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA) held its 2024 Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, marking the first time the association has met on the West Coast. The meeting featured speakers discussing topics such as marine animal research, conservation, and animal welfare. Presentations included talks on conserving marine mammals in changing oceans, the work of the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, and the Marine Mammal Research Network.
