Readers’ Advisory for Readers New to Comics.

Topics explored include the need to acknowledge the comic book preferences of the reader before offering suggestions, the assessment of readers' visual literacy based on comic books that they previously read, and the curiosity of some readers in comics that have been adapted to films or television (TV) series.
