Abstract
The article discusses two significant scientific developments: the detection of lightning on Mars and the investigation of the exoplanet TRAPPIST-1e's atmosphere. Researchers have confirmed the presence of electrical discharges in the Martian atmosphere using data from a microphone on NASA's Perseverance rover, which recorded faint sparks resulting from colliding dust grains. Meanwhile, astronomers utilizing the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) have been analyzing TRAPPIST-1e, a planet in the habitable zone of the TRAPPIST-1 system, but findings regarding its atmosphere remain inconclusive, with possibilities ranging from a nitrogen-rich atmosphere to no atmosphere at all.
