Abstract
The article focuses on the exploration of celestial objects within a 20° circle centered on the North Celestial Pole (NCP) using backyard telescopes. The author successfully identifies several stars and deep-sky objects, including the binary star Polaris and the Polarissima Cluster (NGC 188), which is notable for its age and stability. The Engagement Ring, an asterism surrounding Polaris, is also described, along with various double stars and a challenging planetary nebula (IC 3568) in the vicinity. The observations highlight the limited but intriguing celestial offerings available to suburban stargazers in the northern sky. [Extracted from the article]
