Abstract
The article focuses on the Vera C. Rubin Observatory, a new astronomical telescope located in Chile that is set to enhance our understanding of the cosmos. Equipped with giant mirrors and a 3,200-megapixel camera, the observatory will capture approximately 1,000 images of the southern sky each night, potentially uncovering billions of cosmic objects over the next decade. It aims to address significant astronomical questions, such as the existence of a planet beyond Pluto. The observatory is anticipated to commence full operations by the end of the year.
