Abstract

The article discusses a book titled "Ole Rømer's Triduum," which is a three-volume account of astronomical observations conducted by Ole Rømer in October 1706. The book offers more than just observations of star positions, providing historical and astronomical content. Rømer's observations were significant in the development of methods for reducing observational errors and the potential of meridian circles in positional astronomy. The book includes a modern reduction of the observations and is richly illustrated. However, it lacks indices. [Extracted from the article]
