Abstract
Researchers in Uganda have initiated a trial for a new Ebola vaccine following a recent outbreak of the Sudan ebolavirus. The vaccine, developed by Merck and donated to IAVI, has shown promising results in healthy volunteers. Meanwhile, astronomers have identified an asteroid, 2024 YR4, with a 1.5% chance of impacting Earth in 2032, prompting further observations to assess the risk. Additionally, China is reportedly constructing a large laser fusion research facility in Sichuan province for both nuclear weapons and clean energy research. [Extracted from the article]
