Abstract
Uranus will be at opposition on November 16th, located 6 ½ ° southwest of the Pleiades star cluster. The planet will move westward in retrograde motion and cross into Aries on December 29th. Uranus will shine at magnitude 5.6 at opposition and can be observed with a small telescope. Mars will continue to brighten as it approaches its January 16, 2025, opposition, starting the month at magnitude +0.1 and finishing at magnitude -0.5. The opportunity to see slow fireballs from the Southern and Northern Taurids meteor showers will also occur this month. [Extracted from the article]
