Abstract
This article provides information on various summer acting programs that offer training in different areas of performance. The American Academy of Dramatic Arts offers programs in New York City and Los Angeles, focusing on stage and screen performance. Shakespeare's Globe in London offers an intensive program for those interested in mastering Shakespeare, with additional perks such as tours and performances. Other programs include voice training at UCLA, physical acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, musical theater training at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, comedy training at the Annoyance Theatre Training Center, puppetry training at the Sandglass Theater, cabaret training at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, clown training at Dell'Arte International, and Chekhov technique training at the National Michael Chekhov Association.
