Abstract
The article offers information on the creative process behind scoring a film, highlighting the need for the music to match the cinematic and bombastic feel of the visuals. Topics include the freedom experienced by the composer in creating epic music; the importance of developing various themes to match different aspects of the film and its protagonist; and the challenge of finding a theme that captures the youthful, playful, and rebellious nature of the protagonist, Trudy Ederle.
