Abstract

The article discusses immigrants' lack of comprehensive health coverage in the U.S. and the need to expand Medicaid for undocumented immigrants as of 2025. Topics covered include the expansion of state-level Medicaid programs to undocumented adults aged 50 years and older in California and Oregon, and the less than optimal reception among the Latino community due to anti-immigrant rhetoric and health care mistrust. Also noted are the potential cuts in Medicaid in 2025.
