Abstract

Nick Johnston, a Canadian guitarist, has gained recognition in the industry for his signature Schecter guitars. His Diamond Series Traditional model became a best-seller due to its affordability and high quality. In his latest album, Child of Bliss, Johnston used a combination of amps but no pedals, except for a recent addition, the Brass Tacks boost/overdrive by Riveter Electric. His music incorporates chromatics and a mix of beautiful and dark elements, breaking traditional rules of rock guitar playing. Johnston draws inspiration from guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen, Eddie Van Halen, and Nuno Bettencourt. [Extracted from the article]
