Bob Parsons, the founder of web-hosting pioneer GoDaddy Inc., is using his wealth to support veterans causes. Through the Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, Parsons donates funds to organizations working on issues such as homelessness, medical care, LGBTQ youth, education, and the needs of wounded veterans and military families. He has donated over $300 million to various causes, including $100 million to the veterans organization Semper Fi. Parsons, who served in the US Marine Corps and was wounded during the Vietnam War, believes that technology cannot solve challenges like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
