Abstract

Eight crew members were hospitalized, some with life-threatening injuries, after a collision on the set of Eddie Murphy's upcoming movie The Pickup. The crash occurred during the filming of a scene for the action-comedy outside Atlanta on April 20, when an armored GMC truck and a BMW collided and flipped several times off the road. The crew members, including two who were ejected from the armored truck, were rushed to nearby hospitals. Eddie Murphy and his co-stars were reportedly not on set at the time of the incident. The studio is currently investigating the cause of the crash. [Extracted from the article]
