Abstract
The article focuses on the feminist perspectives in Angela Carter's work, particularly her reimagining of fairy tales to empower women. The artist, Vanessa Marr, creates an embroidered artwork depicting a table set for female protagonists from Carter's "The Bloody Chamber," using a vintage tablecloth to symbolize the legacy of female disempowerment. The artwork references Judy Chicago's "Dinner Party" and empowers the female characters while reducing the male characters to mere objects.
