Abstract
The article focuses on NASA’s Artemis II mission, which successfully completed a lunar flyby and returned its crew safely to Earth. Launched on April 1, the mission took astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen around the moon, reaching a distance of 406,771 kilometers from Earth. Artemis II served as a test flight for future lunar missions, providing valuable observations of the lunar surface, including previously unseen areas on the moon’s far side. Upcoming missions include Artemis III in 2027, aimed at testing docking capabilities with lunar landers, and Artemis IV in 2028, planned as the next lunar landing. [Extracted from the article]
