Abstract
The article focuses on Ukraine's development of advanced drone-defense technology in response to Russia's extensive use of Shahed-type attack drones during its 2022 invasion. This expertise has gained international attention amid Iran's deployment of similar drones against targets in the Gulf and Israel, revealing vulnerabilities in regional air defenses. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has leveraged this capability diplomatically, with multiple countries, including the U.S., seeking Kyiv's assistance and military advisers to counter drone threats. Zelensky has indicated Ukraine's willingness to enter long-term agreements for access to its drone-defense systems in exchange for financial support and weaponry. Despite this, U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly minimized the need for Ukraine's help in drone defense. [Extracted from the article]
