Abstract

The article focuses on notable historical figures Arthur Ashe, Eartha Kitt, and Martin Delany, highlighting their achievements and backgrounds. Ashe, the first black player selected to the U.S. Davis Cup team, used his platform to advocate for HIV/AIDS treatment, while Kitt, known for her singing and acting, was a critic of the Vietnam War. Delany, an abolitionist and proponent of black nationalism, dreamed of establishing a settlement in West Africa.
