Abstract
The article focuses on the biblical themes of good and evil, redemption, and the anticipated return of Jesus Christ as portrayed in J. R. R. Tolkien's *The Lord of the Rings* and various biblical texts. It explains that while Tolkien's work is not a Christian allegory, it reflects a biblical foundation contrasting good and evil, with characters like Aragorn symbolizing a Christ figure whose return as king is awaited. The article also discusses the Book of Revelation's message of God's ultimate victory over sin through Jesus Christ, described as "the Alpha and the Omega," and highlights Psalm 132's anticipation of the Messiah's second coming to reign in power and glory. The Messiah's first coming involved sacrifice and resurrection, while his second coming will establish a visible, historical kingdom on earth.
