Abstract
Wolfgang Van Halen, guitarist and vocalist of Mammoth WVH, discusses the records, artists, and gigs that have had a lasting impact on him. He reflects on his musical upbringing, including his first music lesson from his father Eddie Van Halen and his early performances. Wolfgang also shares his influences, such as Maynard James Keenan and Dave Grohl, and his admiration for his father's guitar playing. He mentions AC/DC's Powerage as the greatest album of all time and discusses the importance of finding his sound with Mammoth WVH. Wolfgang also mentions his guilty pleasure, The Midnight, and his favorite live albums, Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads and If You Want Blood You've Got It by AC/DC. He highlights Jimmy Eat World as an underrated band and shares his favorite songs for different moods and occasions.
