Abstract

Jurassic Park author Michael Crichton left behind an incomplete manuscript when he died in 2008. After 15 years, his widow Sherri found acclaimed suspense novelist James Patterson to complete the novel, titled Eruption. The collaboration between the two authors was described as a "no-brainer" and resulted in a book that retains Crichton's signature style and scientific accuracy. Sherri and her son are proud of the book, which they believe would have been important to Crichton. [Extracted from the article]
