Abstract

Atari, a well-known gaming company, has had a mixed history of success and failure. In the 1980s, Atari released popular computers like the Atari ST range and the Atari Lynx handheld console. However, their later console, the Jaguar, failed to impress and Atari eventually pulled out of the hardware market. Despite this, Atari has continued to invest in hardware, releasing the Atari VCS console in 2021 and a remade Atari 2600 called the Atari 2600+. They have also acquired companies and tapped into the loyal community of Atari fans. While Atari has faced challenges, it continues to strive for success in the gaming industry.
