Abstract
The article focuses on Suzanne Herz’s return to Penguin Random House (PRH) as the publisher of bestselling author John Grisham, effective April 15, 2024. Herz, former executive vice president and publisher of Vintage/Anchor Books and executive director of publishing at Doubleday, will oversee the publishing strategy for the John Grisham brand, aligning it with PRH’s sales and marketing teams to expand readership and support future growth. Herz and Grisham have collaborated on nearly forty titles, all of which became #1 New York Times bestsellers. Grisham’s books will continue to be published under the Doubleday imprint, with his existing publishing and sales teams remaining in place. Additionally, Lauren Weber has been promoted to executive director of brand development for John Grisham.
