Abstract
The article highlights the philanthropic efforts of country-music icon Dolly Parton, emphasizing her long-standing commitment to education and health initiatives. In 1988, she established the Dollywood Foundation to reduce the dropout rate in Sevier County, Tennessee, and launched the Imagination Library, which has distributed over 270 million free books to children under five in multiple countries. Parton has also contributed significantly to COVID-19 vaccine research, donating $1 million to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and continues her charitable work by recently partnering with the Mountain Ways Foundation to aid flood victims in East Tennessee.
