Abstract

Steve Forbes, chairman and editor in chief of Forbes Media, is selling his collection of Winston Churchill memorabilia. The collection, which includes over 25 Churchill-themed objects, will be presented at the Winter Show in New York. Highlights of the collection include Churchill's desk from his home in Hyde Park Gate, a painting by Churchill of the entrance to the gorge at Todra, Morocco, and a large portrait of Churchill from 1943. The market for Churchill material is generally strong, and this collection is considered to be of high quality. [Extracted from the article]
